The HORL story began in 2016 when father-and-son duo Otmar and Timo Horl founded the company in Freiburg, Germany, with a mission to simplify professional-grade knife sharpening. Manufactured with exceptional craftsmanship in the Black Forest, the HORL system has revolutionised how home cooks and professionals maintain their blades.

HORL 3 Cruise

With diamond and stainless steel discs, the HORL 3 Cruise gives all your blades, from kitchen knives to pocket knives, a sharp finish. The 15° grinding angle usually used for Japanese knives, produces a fine edge , while the 20° grinding angle gives you a stable edge for your Western style knives.

Made from ocean-bound plastic ollected from beaches, the sandy colour of the HORL®3 Cruise blends into any kitchen.

HORL 3 Cruise grinding discs are fixed and are not removable, nor replaceable. Do check out the HORL 3 Oak, Walnut or Pro for additional functionality including fitting a selection of various grit whetstones (sold separately).
